GUIDELINES

1. The Tournament will be held on the weekend of September 2-3, with practice on Friday September 1. 
2. The venue will be at the CERN Club House: CERN Lawn, 6439 Rte Heisenberg, 01630 Saint-Genis-Pouilly, France
3. All participating players must be a European Gateball club or association member.
4. All players must be registered. 
5. Each player must pay a registration fee of CHF 30.00, which covers all lunches and water during playing sessions, and Friday evening reception. This can be paid during the event or in advance to Account  IBAN: CH65 0027 9279 HU21 2957 0 Swiss Gateball
6. Game format:  Both Singles and Doubles events will start with single game blocks, followed by single game knock-out through to Finals. The event organizer reserves the right to modify the Singles format depending on the number of participants.
7. There will be 4 lawns made available for the tournament.
8. All matches will have an assigned referee and scorer. Participating players should make themselves available for refereeing/scoring duties. The assigned referee has the final decision.
9. Prizes will be awarded for the following:
   1. Winner and Finalist of Doubles 
   2. Winner and Finalist of Singles
10. There will be a welcome reception on Friday evening at the Clubhouse.
11. A group buffet dinner will be held on Saturday evening at the Hong Chinese Restaurant close to the lawns (Buffet EUR 30, drinks extra pay at the restaurant). 
12. During the event, both soft and alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the Club Bar.
13. Important: As the lawns are within the grounds of CERN an Access card will be required to enter the premises. 

This we will get for you BUT require the following information for every participant:

• Surname, First name (to be completed as on the identity document they carry)
• Nationality
• E-mail address
• Phone number 
• Date and place of birth
• Vehicle registration number if the visitor is coming by car
